Drinking Away the Pain [open]

Drinking Away the Pain [open]
Gary sat at the bar in the Hog's Head, he could no longer stand the happy, cheery atmosphere of the Three Broomsticks. He glared at the dusty bar top angrily as if it was the reason for all of his pain. He had had to get away from the Cullen's home, he just couldn't stand seeing Faith in that much pain. 'That thing inside of her is sapping at her life and Edward just stands by and does nothing. He's the reason for this, he's the reason for her pain. He broke our promise and now he's going to break Faith,' he thought angrily. He growled quietly then gulped down a glass of whiskey, the bottle beside him was already half empty.

Re: Drinking Away the Pain [open]
Gary was muttering under his breath, not paying any attention to the world around him, lost in the alcohol and his angry thoughts. "...his fault.....broke our promise.....stupid, stupid, stupid..." he was muttering, shaking his head and cursing every now and then. He refilled his glass and drank it, almost subconciously.

Gary jerled away from her hand and glared at her. His eyes were dark and bloodshot with large purple shadows under them. "No. No one is trying. She'll get her way because everyone loves her and then it will be too late," he said, in a thick, gruff voice.

Re: Drinking Away the Pain [open]
Gary shook his head and turned away, "No i don't. I'm fine, i'm fine. It's all his bloody fault," he muttered again, growling slightly. He clenched the hand which wasn't holding his glass into a tight fist. There were little half moon scars across his palm from the many years of clenching his hands, it helped him to stop lashing out.

Re: Drinking Away the Pain [open]
Gary relaxed his hand but his shoulders were still stiff. He nodded, "i know, I know." He refilled his glass again and drank it in one. It seemed to be his only escape now, getting drunk, getting weaker so Aiden took control, giving Gary a 'break'.

Gary pulled against her then gave up and dragged himself out of his chair. He followed Shadow out of the bar, stumbling every now and then. Once they were outside he slumped against the wall and sighed deeply.

Gary looked across to her and smiled, in an odd fashion, "However no one knows that. And even if she's fine, she won't be herself anymore, she'll be a monster like us. She'll lose all of her humaness."

Re: Drinking Away the Pain [open]
Gary shrugged, "But he'll turn her anyway, even if she survives. Of course he isn't going to stand by and watch her die!!" He laughed coldly, "He's breaking his promise, the promise he made 4 years ago, the one time i stupidly trusted him."

Gary growled at her, "I'm not the one who got her pregnant am i?!" he shouted back. His eyes were wide with anger, his breath coming in short sharp bursts. It was clear that the alcohol, no blood and lack of rest was getting to him.
