This thread will be updated daily, if I'm on. If I'm absent a day. I will add the days I missed, so you don't miss a day.
This thread will let you know what happend in the Harry Potter World on this day.

· 1994: Mad-Eye Moody is kidnapped by Barty Crouch Jr [GOF35].
· 1995: Hermione and Ron receive news that they will be prefects [OOTP10].

1st
· 1991: Term begins for Harry’s first year at Hogwarts. He becomes friends with Ron and is sorted into Gryffindor [PS/SS7].
· 1992: Dobby closes the barrier to Plaform 9 ¾, and Harry and Ron choose to fly to school in the Ford Anglia. They make a rather unsuccessful landing in the Whomping Willow and are punished accordingly [COS5].
· 1993: Harry has his first encounter with a Dementor, which causes him to faint. He also meets Remus Lupin for the first time, after Lupin gives him chocolate to revive him from the experience [POA5].
· 1994: Draco Malfoy is turned into the Amazing Bouncing Ferret [GOF13].
· 1996: Slughorn brings together a new Slug Club with Harry Potter included. Harry sneaks into Draco Malfoy’s carriage but is discovered; Malfoy breaks his nose and leaves him paralysed and invisible, but he is rescued by Tonks [HBP7].
· 1997: Snape is declared as the new headmaster of Hogwarts, and the trio decide to put their plan at the Ministry into action the next day. Harry has his first vision concerning Gregorovitch [DH12].

· 1993: Malfoy is injured by Buckbeak and starts a campaign against him and Hagrid [POA6].
· 1995: Harry earns detention from Umbridge after declaring that “Voldemort is back” in their first Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson [OOTP12].
· 1996: The sixth-years begin learning non-verbal spells, and Harry discovers the Half-Blood Prince’s book [HBP9].
· 1997: Harry, Ron and Hermione infiltrate the Ministry, when Harry takes Mad-Eye’s eye from Umbridge’s door, they see for themselves the Muggle-born trials, they steal the locket necklace from Umbridge (who is wearing it), and only just escape – although Ron is splinched and Yaxley discovers their hiding place after holding onto Hermione when she Apparates back to Grimmauld Place. They Apparate to a forest and Harry has another vision [HBP12, 13, 14].

· 1995: Harry has his first “I must not tell lies” detention with Umbridge [OOTP13].
· 1997: Harry buries Mad-Eye’s eye, and discovers the ill-effects of the Horcrux when he fails to conjure a Patronus [DH15].
