Re: The Aftermath [Gary And Rose]
Gary tutted and continued to ignore her, she could do what she liked, but he knew it wasn't Rose really. He pulled out his wand then read through the spell again. After carefully memorising the spell he looked at Rose and murmured it, hoping that it worked. It had been a while since he had used any healing magic.

She let go of him almost immediately, drawing in breath sharply. She closed her eyes, seeming almost peaceful, even though the spell hurt her horribly. Strands of blue and orange light came away from her head, flowing into the tip of Gary's wand. She bit her lip, just about bearing the pain. It was always this way; it hurt more when someone else took your moods from your head. It felt as if someone had cut open her skull and was rummaging around inside her head with sandpaper gloves on. Her brain burned against the back of her eyes, and she felt hot, wet tears coming forwards. And then it was over.

Gary watched nervously, it looked like she was in a lot of pain. When the spell had finished, he looked at her, a frown creasing his forehead, "Rose, are you ok?" he asked, carefully. She was sometimes a little strange after the spell, but he was worried that he hadn't done it right or something had gone wrong.

"Yeah," she said in a small voice, opening her eyes. "Yeah. I'm perfect, thanks." She looked at the floor and blushed a little, embarrassed that he had saved her after everything she'd said to him. "I'm...sorry for shouting at you. I shouldn't have." She reached up and touched his neck, fiddling with his hair and looking into his eyes intently.

Gary breathed a sigh of relief, his face relaxing, "You shouldn't be sorry, i deserved every word and more. The worst thing is, it's all true." He sighed, placing on hand on the small of her bac and one on her hip.

She breathed in quickly as he touched her. It was always a surprise. "I did mean it when I said I forgave you. I'm not quite over it yet, but I do forgive you." Her hand slid down to his chest, and she smiled up at him nervously.

Gary smiled back and pulled her into a tight embrace, "Oh Rose, thank you so much. What i did will probably never leave your mind, and i will understand if you never trust me again. Just to know that i am slightly forgiven is enough." He rested his chin on her shoulder, smiling to the wall opposite.
